Our Founder, Michael DiMaio, shared his recovery story to dismantle the negative stigma surrounding addiction through the Independence Blue Cross Foundation Someone You Know campaign and it changed his life and motivated him to create The Infinite Mission. This video reached thousands of people, resulting in ad features on buses, bus stops, etc. We've been informed that this video changed negative judgments about addiction and inspired others to seek help which is why we are sharing it here.

OVERCOMING OUR STRUGGLES

Our Founder, USAF Veteran, Michael DiMaio, grew up in Drexel HIll, Pennsylvania with four siblings and hard-working parents. Michael has been in recovery from opioid use disorder since 2013, In May 2023 Michael received his bachelor's degree at Villanova University in Public Service and Administration. He has volunteered with various organizations over the years and shared his own story through the IBX Someone You Know campaign in an effort to reduce the negative stigma around the substance abuse epidemic. Fueled by his passion to help others be their best selves, in 2020, he decided it was the best year to found a nonprofit designed to specifically empower those suffering from homelessness and substance abuse
